Exceptional and rare pair of tables model n 272 by the Danish architect and designer Illum Wikkelsø.This pair of small coffee tables, cocktail table, side table, bedside table are of a very high quality.They are formed by four spindle and oblique legs joined by moving crosspieces. The square top is held to the base by four stoppers, also in rosewood. The two tops present different veining with the same wood. This nuance offers even more elegance to this pair of tables each unique. They are made entirely of Rio rosewood.The base is characteristic of Illum Wikkelsø's work.They are often accompanied by these armchairs and ottomans.They have been fully restored, re-varnished with a buffer.One has very slight "creases" in the corners.
