Product description
Rare 1940s bakelite liquor cellar in the shape of a life-size bowling ball, topped by a cut-out base. It is surrounded by a brass band with bowling-pin motifs. A handle with three notches on the top, like a bowling ball, enables the lid to be lifted easily.Comprising a set of six glasses and space for a bottle of spirits.
Beautifully speckled bakelite in burgundy-brown tones, it's a rare, highly decorative period piece that will surprise your guests. Americans used to drink shots of whisky in those days, but there's nothing to stop them drinking a liqueur or other favorite strong spirit. Marked: "created by EVANS, Chicago 6, ill. patents pending - MADE IN U.S.A.".
