Mid-century Scandinavian style modular armchair, circa 1950sThe armchair has a wooden frame with a golden oak color finish and rests on handsome Scandinavian style legs.The seat and backrest are covered in their original black skai/vinyl/simil-leather.They are both in very good original condition with a few wear marks on the fabric, left armrest, corner of the underside of the seat (on the armchair setting) (See photos.The armchair can be converted into a dining/side chair if required. Simply slide the chair forward through the ramp mechanism and tilt it into position (see photos). It's extremely easy and the mechanism works perfectly.Not a very common seat, but it will quickly become an eye-catcher in any living room, dining room or as an occasional chair, bookcase or near a fireplace.Piece in very good overall original and period condition, slight age and time marks as well as time patina on the entire seat, back and legs structure.It only needs to be gently cleaned and polished, the upholstery cleaned with a special leather conditioner and leather polishing finish.Measurements:Chair setting:H: 86 cm x D: 47 cm x W: 50 cmSeat height: 48 cmArmchair setting:H: 61 cm x D: 62 cm x W: 50 cmSeat height: 36 cm at highest and 29 cm at lowest.
