Product description
Square vintage coffee table, made up of 8 elements designed by the iconic Italian designer Joe Colombo in 1970 as part of his ingenious "Modular Square Plastic System", exhibited at New York's MoMA in 1972 during "Italy: the new domestic landscape" (see photos), and produced by Elco Scorze, Italy. Certainly produced in very small quantities, these pieces are virtually impossible to find: google them and you'll find none, or at exorbitant prices. The table offers 4 distinct storage spaces (one on each side): 2 with pigeonholes, 1 with a curtain, and 1 with 4 drawers, and the glass top covering it is brand new. A museum piece, designed by one of the greatest designers of the last century. Minimal traces of wear, but very good overall condition. Don't hesitate to ask us any questions you may have.
